In an attempt to encourage student accountability and ownership of education, I will not be emailing students or putting together packets for absences. The expectation in my classroom is that students will check with their peers about missed assignments and content for both planned and unplanned absences. We took some time to exchange contact information with a "social studies buddy" and each student should have a couple of her/his classmates numbers to achieve such a goal.
If you are absent from class, please check with your "social studies buddy" for missing assignments. Support
